What is a good life? Is good based on our understanding of the word, set by our bar? Or is our perception of good based on God’s definition? I fear that it is ours.
God says that there is not one person who is good for all have sinned. This is why He sent His son Jesus to die for our transgressions so that we can be restored to God.
You can’t be good enough, you can’t do enough good works, salvation can’t be earned. It was a gift.

But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
